While many look to Washington for answers to advance our clean energy economy and environment, quite often it's America's mayors who are taking the wheel and driving change in communities across our nation. America's Natural Gas Alliance is proud to sponsor this year's U.S. Conference of Mayors' gathering, which gets underway today in Oklahoma City. Tonight, we will honor some true local leaders-16 mayors from across the country whom the American Lung Association has named Clean Vehicle Champions for their work advancing green transportation and clean air. These mayors are working hard to save their cities money, while improving the health and environment of their communities through greater use of clean natural gas transportation.
In our latest edition of Nat Gas Now, we celebrate these city efforts-from New York's taxicabs switching to natural gas, to Dodger fans in LA riding to home games in natural gas shuttles, to Washington DC's natural gas bus fleet, to a host of cities large, small and everything in between.
